Meet Cassie

Cassie Hounsell is a published writer of many short stories across multiple anthologies, including:

Cassie has written multiple novel-length stories, and is currently hard at work on a new project with hopes of branching into being a published novelist soon! She is a speculative fiction writer, who loves character-driven stories about people who don’t quite fit in, are a little bit weird, but are jam-packed full of heart. She describes her writing style as detail-orientated, gritty and strange, but with some love and softness tossed in to balance it all out.

She has been a creative writing facilitator for over five years, speaking at workshops across Victoria and running successful writing groups with 100+ members passing through her doors. Cassie has mentored and assisted many writers in achieving their dreams to becoming published authors, is a member with multiple writing institutes, and has completed short courses in creative writing, character development, editing and more.
